BMW and Allego present smart mobility solutions to Dutch Royal Couple
BMW and Allego gave today a presentation about their smart mobility solutions to the Dutch Royal Couple and Minister Ploumen of Foreign Trade and Development Cooperation. Both companies collaborate in providing smart charging solutions and services to e-drivers.
The presentation was part of the trade mission, where several innovative Bavarian companies presented themselves to the royal couple and minister. BMW and Allego presented together a showcase on e-mobility, which is a good example of German and Dutch collaboration on clean urban mobility.
Especially for BMW drivers
In order to accelerate clean electric mobility, a reliable and open charging network is necessary. BMW chose Allego to support them in their ambition to provide the BMW driver with smart and reliable charging solutions and –services and is the charge point operator for BMW´s e-mobility service ChargeNow. With ChargeNow e-drivers get access to a comprehensive charging network, charge cashless and get insights via an app about their BMW e-car and the location of charging stations. BMW and Allego today gave a demonstration on how e-drivers use the ChargeNow app for charging and monitoring the BMW e-car.
Proud of the partnership
“We are proud of our partnership with BMW and we highly appreciate their leadership in making electric driving possible and accessible.” says Anja van Niersen, CEO of Allego. “The market for e-driving is professionalizing quickly and more and more parties recognize the need for an open, interoperable charging network in order to get sustainable driving more widely accepted. For the e-driver, it is essential that they can charge everywhere and anytime they want. Clean e-mobility is needed to accelerate zero emission environments in which people live. If we collaborate together we can make sustainable driving more accessible.”
