Official signing ULTRA-E in Brussels
- 17 November 2016
Allego is proud to have been invited to attend and speak during the signing ceremony of the ULTRA-E consortium in Brussels at the premises of the Innovation and Networks Executive Agency (INEA). It is a special moment to celebrate with our consortium partners the official start of another milestone project in the Electric Vehicle sector in which Allego is participating.
The project, called ‘ULTRA-E’, benefits from over €6.5 million of EU funding to support the installation and testing of 25 ultra-fast chargers (up to 350 kW) on road infrastructure on several TEN-T Core Network Corridors. The Ultra Fast chargers will connect The Netherlands, Belgium, Germany and Austria. These next level chargers will make it possible to charge future electric cars as easy and fast as filling up your petrol car. Anja van Niersen, CEO Allego: “As coordinator of the ULTRA-E Consortium we are thankful for the support of the EU and we are looking forward to working with our distinguished partners in this project.”
