Allego head office stays in Arnhem, The Netherlands
25 October 2019

We are very happy to announce that for our move to a larger head office, we have decided to stay in Arnhem. After moving to business park Industrie Park Kleefse Waard (IPKW) in June 2014, we have developed a strong connection to the city and the region. With the development of a new head office on IPKW grounds, we are committing ourselves to a long term stay in Arnhem.

The new office will be a redeveloped industrial building from the forties and fifties of the previous century. The building will be renovated, modernised and made more sustainable. But on the other hand, we are very happy it will keep its original atmosphere and quality.

As a prize-winning business park, IPKW is known for its drive to bring green tech companies to the region. Together with the government, business and the educational system they are working on creating the cleantech campus of the future.

Allego started with only 15 people in 2013 and has grown to almost 300 today in Europe. With this new office in Arnhem, we want to offer our people a great place to work to further grow our business and create unlimited electric mobility.

We will stay within a known environment, building on the same reasons we had, when we chose for IPKW the first time. “We focus on making mobility more sustainable and look for an environment that matches our current business objectives”, says Anja van Niersen, CEO of Allego.

Mayor Ahmed Marcouch is delighted: “Arnhem is a leader as an energy city, and this is how the city wants to make a difference. It is therefore important that a major player such as Allego remains in Arnhem with its head office, in order to continue to grow from there.”

We expect to move to our new head office in the second quarter of next year.
