We are improving our charging solution portfolio with the goal to offer all EV drivers a fast and seamless charging experience. Part of that is testing new technologies. Our latest pilot is the HYC400 charger. This cutting-edge charging system has more power than the chargers we are generally operating. For the EV drivers this means faster charging. And the higher efficiency of this system means that we make the most out of every kWh of sustainable energy that we purchase. The pilot location is accessible for normal EVs, as well as larger vehicles like cars with a caravan or boat attached to it.
Experience the next generation of High-Power Charging (HPC) technology with the HYC400 Charger. The charger offers an impressive power output of up to 400 kW within a compact design. In comparison, the ultra-fast chargers that we operate at this moment have a power output of up to 300 kW. But the thing that makes this pilot truly unique is its efficiency. It has an efficiency of 97%, which is very promising in comparison to the current average of 93%. This means that this system prevents unnecessary losses from the solar and wind energy that we purchase and operate at our charging locations. So we make the most out of every kWh, which might be a meaningful step in our road of becoming a fully sustainable charging network.
By efficiently distributing power between multiple connectors, this innovative charger optimizes charging speeds. The result? A superior charging experience and reduced charging times. With the pilot program, we aim to thoroughly test and evaluate the stability and performance of the HYC400 Charger.

The pilot is located at our ultra-fast charging station at the Postillon hotel in Arnhem, the Netherlands. The charging location is easily accessible, located near a big junction and has ample space to accommodate large vehicles, allowing easy access, maneuverability, and even the ability to turn around. We would love for you to come and witness its capabilities firsthand. While you are there to charge, you can get a nice cup of coffee and relax a bit. But don’t take too long, because your car will be ready to hit the road again before you know it.
