With more than 160 sites in the UK, over 120 of which are located in London, Allego continues to expand its presence in key metropolitan and regional areas to provide reliable, accessible charging solutions.

This new integration allows users to find Allego chargers and pay for sessions directly through the Zapmap app using Zap-Pay. Drivers can start their charge at the press of a button and monitor the status of their session in real time. The app also stores VAT receipts, which can be downloaded anytime, offering added convenience for personal and fleet users.

Zapmap’s platform provides detailed information on each charging location, and by filtering the map by the network, users can select “Allego” to view compatible sites. The app also includes a public charging calculator, allowing users to estimate costs based on vehicle type, energy rate, and charge needed.

Charging costs at Allego locations in the UK:

• AC 22kW chargers: 63p per kWh
• DC fast and ultra-fast chargers (50kW and above): 84p per kWh

Allego’s UK network includes both AC and DC chargers. AC sessions can be paid for using a mobility service provider (MSP) card or all major credit cards and SEPA direct debit through the Smoov App. DC chargers support payment via MSP cards, the Smoov App, and contactless payment methods, including credit cards, debit cards, Apple Pay, and Google Pay.

This partnership with Zapmap reinforces Allego’s goal of making EV charging more accessible, transparent, and user-friendly across the UK.
